This fantastic image of (probably) all of the Touhou characters is by relatively unknown artist みちいゆうき / Michiyuuki; there’s more of his fine works on his homepage, or on the Channel if you’d rather.
Is there anyone missing? Feel free to label it on the Channel also; I can’t be the only one who can only recognise a pathetically small number of them…

i think the problem is to point out who ISN’T in the drawing, as the artist included even the first few touhou shooters’ characters. I sure can’t spot them out myself.
Never really noticed but there are a lot of blond characters in touhou.

This shows why the Touhou anime will remain mythical: how would one make a series giving enough time to the main girls (how would these be defined?) while not ignoring all the lesser known ones?
Unless you go the Naruto route and make Touhou: The Animation 300+ episodes…
If it’s SHAFT doing it, they can make over 9000 episodes and I’ll watch EVERY SINGLE ONE!!!!!

Well, most of the PC-98 chars aren’t even in Gensokyo anymore…
Am I the only one to have noticed that out of all those characters there are only two hairstyles present?
No, there are more like 5-10, although there seems to be one very frequently used hairstyle there…which I would term as free flow

its no suprise why Utsuho Reiouji or even Shinki cant beat her XD

Most characters I recognize(whether I know the names of all of them is a different story, and I’m a big Touhou fan, mind you), so wow. This is incredible.
