The fourth episode of Toradora, caps of which you can see above, continues the tsundere reign of the series, but the usual terrifying observational powers of 2channers have brought to light subtle service – so subtle in fact, that there is some doubt over its existence at all. Others are already suggesting we have our DVD extras right here.
The (apparent) pantsu shot in question, showing Aisaka in the midst of a particularly acrobatic bout of tsundere histrionics:

A pantsu analyser has helpfully increased the gamma:

Clearly it can’t be part of her skirt. Nor is it the same colour as her leg, the angle of which further confuses matters. We must pool our analytical capabilities.
Poll unavailable.
I lol'd, but yes it is pantsu
In the picture with the increased gamma, it seems as though that there's a lot of shadow going on there under her skirt and around her legs in that area. Definitely possible that the heavy shadow gets taken out and more sunlight is allowed to hit them from a nicer angle. But for now, I don't think the tv version has pantsu.
My vote goes to under-skirt buruma.
Also: I only watched 1 ToraDora ep, but she's already my number one tsundere.
Portable Tiger ftw!
It's her thigh.
Im gunna go ahead and say that its not pantsu but its the fence in the backgroud. you can see the criss-cross parttern of the fence as well as that is WAY to far down to be her panties, its simply a gap between her legs. sorry :/
It's not pantsu! The rest of her leg is stockinged, that lighter patch there is her skin!
DAMN RIGHT
That's just where her long socks end
I See Exactly What There Talking About. I Think Her Pantsu Are Showing =) Best Thing About It Is I LOVE Taiga =)
i voted before checking unfortunately...
also unfortunately, it's not panchira, look at my shopped image:
http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l230/kebrus/proof.png
as you can see, at first glance it looks like pantsu, yet if you look with more attention you'll notice a diagonal "beam" of light coming from the top right to the bottom left, crossing over her stockings, legs and skirt, so basically thats her leg's shadow with a beam of light on top of it which kinda resembles pantsu
i'm sad ;(
Although your image is convincing, I'm a little concerned about two points:
1. It's sunset. Where would a beam coming in at that angle emanate from?
2. A beam of light seems even more incredible than the original maybe pantsu glimpse - it doesn't seem like they would animate a split second flying kick in anywhere near that levle of detail. If they went to the trouble of putting it in, they wwould need to tangle with 1.
Really, this image is quite puzzling in many respects.
lol i rechecked and i know at it is now, it's not a beam of light, it's just the transition of the light of the sun and the shadow of the wall at his back, just skip some frames and you can clearly see her hole body getting inside the shadow
a mystery solved :P
you have some points, but on the other hand
1. while being sunset they really did made some sun glare and glow, watch that little part again and you'll notice a glow coming from one to the top corners (depending on the camera) and a glow around objects and characters, maybe it doesn't make much sense but they still did it
2. clouds and easily cast those kind of beams, yet its true it's hard to believe they would care with such detail, but the fact is, there are no lines shaping up the pants and there is still a "beam" of light over the stockings and skirt, if thats pantsu the beam over them and the lack of lines makes no sense... besides, the glow effect on the top corner might cast those beams in various directions, it could be a still image they made, we can't see it in a "macro" level but i didn't test other images for beams either, so they might be there
In my opinion, it's light and shadow on her legs, not pantsu.
Considering the relative positioning of everything, that patch of color in question isn't really where her legs would join her torso.
To me it just looks like a strange gap in her legs, it looks like a fence to me.
I thought the same thing, although her skirt is rather short so it may be anatomically correct. Perhaps it could be her thigh highlighted, but in that case she has erroneously broad thighs...
Could be, a sacrifice for the shot maybe?
I've seen the episode yesterday on mai projector. But didn't notice a pantsu shot, Usually I notice such things right away but this time apparently not. Maybe my ecchi-radar failed me this time?
Discernible in my oppinion, I'd go for pink/strawberry red pantsu?
That is the up-to-thigh socks they use and the light hitting upon the begging of the leg, there is no pantsu over there
I have to say... they look solid-colored, darker hue (possibly red), but there's a spot on the possible pantsu that intrigues me... is it a print? bunny? heart?
...or more likely either striped red-white or, could we hope, black and yellow...
Not gonna happen. :(
But there's a definite panchira there, you... just can't see them in the dimness.
I think it's the fence behind her. Her legs are so skinny that it wouldnt be unrealistic to see it as such.
I actually paused and screenshotted this frame when I saw it and looked at Aisaka carefully, figured I would've noticed.
Goes to show that if it is a panchira (please let it be a panchira!) it's definitely well hidden. Need to review the evidence...
This is a space between her legs and shows the fence behind. Look closer and with difrent angle.
