A Lucky Star maniac on 2ch shares with us the results of his frenzied buying spree, where he spent over ¥100,000 on goods in one session (most of it in Sofamp it appears). He bought all the DVDs, the character songs, Figma and Nendoroid figures, etc.
The receipt to prove it:
“I overdid it. I still don’t regret a bit at all”, he assures us.
Another 2channer can only manage this in response:
Positively meagre.

Bah, I have spent over $2000 (~200,000yen) on Kimagure Orange Road.
Reminds me of the suncost sale iw ent to ealier this year. Saved more then i spent. if i rmeember right about 500$ and got over 800 dollars of merchandise.
Also reminds me of when i got my first dividend 800 dolars on anime in one go at Bestbuy oh and i spent more oh so much more. i now own over 4000 dollars of anime.
I'm drooling now.
What I want to know is where did the second dude find the plushie of the catlike blob that serves as LS's mascot
Behold, the power of 2ch otaku 0_o
It seems like the second 2channer bought the R1 releases as well.
Anyone know where I find the poster with the Lucky Star case dressed up in the same bunny outfits from haruhi in the third image?
My bad, it's totally a puzzle and I found it online.
god... he overdid it, if i had the money i would never spend it that way XD, i like anime an really love lucky star ( one of the most fun animes i have ever seen) but.... to much money TT
Good lord. 1 whole shelf of Lucky star merchandise. *Bows down and worship*
Otaku alone will be the key in curing the global depression with their frightening spending habits.
Thats just soo awesome that is starting to freak me out O_O
that kagami and tsukasa miku figures are very expensive too for theyr size... i sa them at a local shop here for 130€, and i still want my konata figma dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
zOMG!
His paycheck and savings are well spent lulz
OMG!!! Now that's what I call a Lucky Star HAUL!!! *bows*
I wish..
Haha, call me boring, but four years ago I stopped buying things at conventions. Nowadays it's stricktly manga and anime if they come at a good price. and GunPla, 'cause I get to at least build them.
Wow, I've only ever maxed out at about $300-400 at a convention. I'm pretty sure I will top it in the up coming years.^^
Damn....Damn (0_0;)
thats so awesome, if only i had enough money to spend...
Yeah... Me too. X333
This is what it looks like when I unload my bags after a convention ^^
Best I've ever done in a single session was $600-700USD back in 2003/2004 tho, and that was for multiple series. This guy's got guts
I can't help but speculate about the cashier's reaction...
Surely he is not the first one to do this, I wouldn't expect a normal feeling about it.
Good GOD, that's a lot of Lucky Shit. Though a very wise choice on the figmas... those are BITCHIN'.
I would so do something similar if I lived in Japan...
But since I don't, I guess I'll have to wait till I have enough money to go there again.
On another note, when I was in Japan a couple of years ago, I did something similar with Artbooks...
Paycheck well spent imo.
GRAH.
I want to be rich to do that... T_T
What's that guy doing for a living I wonder?
