Superb petanko miko anime Kannagi seems intent on pursuing tastefully restrained service in the same vein as past greats such as Minamike, with the third episode tantalising viewers with Nagi’s underwear and lack of any cleavage whatsoever; Nagi even seems to be revealing a slightly alarming taste for what can only be described as yuri raep…
After three episodes, I think we can safely say that Kannagi is one of the premier titles of the season (with A Certain Magical Index and Tales of the Abyss also airing, it is regrettably not possible to hand it the laurels it so richly deserves, yet); excellent animation and seiyuu work, appealing characters (including the male ones), a charming plot, and of course petanko godess Nagi, all make it well worth watching.
The logic is a little hard to follow, as ever. Unnecessary bra OK, pantsu NG?
How better to attest to the quality of this anime than by pointing out that it has an end still by none other than Okama?
If all this halfway Nagi action is proving too much, recall that we saw much of her in the recent Nagi Ero Gallery…

I haven't watch this yet but it's included in my list.
As I have predicted... this anime really will exhibit yuri elements and I wasn't wrong about my expectations. LOL! XD
Also... Is it just me or is just that the girl with light brown hair from pictures 11 and 12 look like Shizuru Fujino (or Shizuru Viola) from Mai-HiME (or Mai-Otome)? Oh my... How much I've missed her.

These pics are great, they remind me of how much I enjoyed the series, though some of these I don't even recall, screenshots can sometimes capture so much more than watching the images flit by quickly since you can look at the details more.

On this show, I agree with you completely. I have said, rather hopefully, for months now that Yamakan (the director) is a comic genius. Now I think I may have been right. Godly animation with constant perfect comic touches.
