Strike Witches Cosplay

This rather convincing effort at a Strike Witches cosplay caught my eye; a fitting pose and demeanour for Mio, dramatic sword posing and a not deficient costume and face all mark it out, although with Cosplay Witches being as vanishingly rare as they are, this is not difficult.
As we heard with the guidelines given at the upcoming Strike Witches only event, part of the problem seems to be that not-pantsu do not lend themselves to nomal cosplay, at least in public; though some thought quickly demolishes such objections: what about all those bikini wearing girls present at events of all sorts?

The two top ones are nice, the solo Mio especially is well-done.
Obviously Yoshika and Mio cosplay is less problematic than fully *accurate* cosplays of the non- pantyhose wearing girls, although I suppouse one could get away with using swim bottoms instead of small pantsu.

Where did you get that Bren machine gun from? I wish guns werent so banned over here sigh.
Just been linked to this page, so apologies for the late reply. The Bren is a de-act I got from a local antique dealer.
That pic was taken pre-con (mostly to scare those who I would be spending the weekend with), though the Bren had to stay at home when I finally went. Friday I was Sakamoto, Sunday I was Miyafuji (with a wig which did help the whole look of the costume).
Plans for next year involve Striker Units and assisting in the running of a Maid/Witches café ;)
