I want that first pic!, is the first time i see it so could be that it was custom made for this itasha.

That Ranka pic is lovely, and fits in well with Macross F since it is similar to the nude/undressing Ranka “nose-art” drawn on one of the larger ships in the show ^^

    Would ride this

I’m usually among the first to call shooped, but I dunno about this one. The design is unique, and there’s a glossy coat on the image that matches a clearcoat used on a car, so I’m going to say it’s legit. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it was shooped.

Look at the video, obviously not shooped. Most amazing itasha i’ve seen so far look at the outer-space background and the detail in that.
I do agree that they could’ve picked a nicer car and AT LEAST change those butt-ugly factory rims.

Shopped I think, you can see a line of darker blue dividing the image from the background. Or at least thats what I see.

    Article updated… Thank you, Jones.

It seems Jabro updated after the original detail shots were anonymously posted to 2ch so at least there’s good excuse.

It being an official Itasha makes it even better, although Jabro has a good point that it might’ve been better to have used a nicer car.

Man, those tiny Japanese cars are sorta cute, I remember coming back from living in Japan for a good while a few years to the States and feeling stupefied when I first saw a Hummer SUV parked on the street ^^
