Street Fighter IV Anime - Chun Li

Accompanying the ramp up to the release of the latest instalment of Capcom’s fighting game magnum opus is the news that the game is set to receive a regular “long” anime adaptation, to be handled by Studio 4°C (most recently noted for Detroit Metal City).

You can see some of the already complete anime parts which led to this, along with much of the game, in the video below.

Given the troubled history of prior Street Fighter adaptations we might be forgiven for being sceptical, but with the involvement of Studio 4°C perhaps things will be different this time?

The characters look rather silly in 3D, but the anime seems worth a look or three.

Hell yeah! Sakura! and it seems like they keep her fighting style almost intact!!

I’m really gonna love this game, it was time for SF to evolve into something more ‘mext-gen’

The anime trailer looks great and game looks great too. A little akward looking characters with not so good proportion but its not bad. Looks like capcom guys are trying to make the character look bigger, better and more fighter rather than just normal people in the game. I love it. What I hate is the streetfighter movie comming out and whats even worse is that some White woman playing chunli. Even if she is a cross of asian and white people she is not even close enough to look asian let alone playing Chunli. Someone please fuck that white bitch 3 ways for playing Chuli.

Yay for Dan Hibiki! he should have his own offshoot anime series. An interesting, funny guy.

    In a pink karate-gi.
