Magical pantsu anime まかでみ・WAっしょい / Macademi Wasshoi – finally a magical academy anime which doesn’t take itself seriously, and is also gleefully and irreverently full of kemono mimi and pantsu.
I must admit I am getting a little tired of endless school settings… At least in this case the Magician’s Academy part is strongly reminiscent of Disgaea, which I would say is high praise.
Useless male protagonists are also tiresome, although this one seems less useless than usual.
Pantsu Academy is a title which may yet stick. Perhaps a DVD extras anime to be?
Animation is fine, and nicely chaotic at times (for example with the random clay animation). There seem to be some original touches, but the character design is very original (and quite charming), not a style too often seen in anime.
The artist of the original manga, Blade, with a notable Pixiv presence, is worth checking out too.
Seiyuu work seems to be good as well.
Another bethrothal anime?!
Macademi seems a nice balance between several genres, and one which doesn’t take itself overly seriously. It also has pantsu and devil girls. Very promising, in other words.
I may not yet have been convinced by the similar Kemeko Deluxe, but in Macademi’s case things seem more immediately promising. Definitely one to keep an eye on if the genre (warped comedy and parody) appeals in the slightest.

any idea where i could find the above anime, ie what fansub would be working on this?
Apparently the clay animation scenes are actually censored DVD parts that got cut out on TV, when I checked the DVD version. Nice way to hide such things, though.
The anime is based on the manga of the same name and yes it's drawn by Blade. Also is it true that there's gonna be an uncensored version on AT-X?

Regarding the censorship, I haven't heard anything about it (no complaints either). Usually Tokyo MX and company carry the uncensored versions, so this may be it. I will post any comparisons or otherwise that I come upon.
The clay animated scenes themselves are a form of censorship. Trailers on the show's official website show those same scenes animated in the usual 2D way, with Tanarot completely naked while glomping Takuto. In fact in the image you have labeled as 47, you can clearly see her nipples in the trailer. Whether if that's just for the DVD release or if some stations will show it uncut remains to be seen, I guess.
