The difference between the names Kiyohiko and Naruko being mistaken for female names... well, Hanaharu Naruko's first name is written with the -ko suffix that is common in girls' names, whereas in Kiyohiko the functional component is -hiko, a common suffix in male names. As a side note, I support calling gender-swapped Suzumiya Haruhi 'Haruhiko'. It's neat when the generic "add -ko at the end" method works both ways.

His futanari manga are also excellent, especially the non-ero Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa. And then there's the catgirl eromanga Nene, which last I checked was still on hiatus after 10 chapters. Can anyone confirm or deny it?

It's just like how many people initially thought that Azuma kiyohiko (of Azumanga Daioh and Yotsuba!& fame) was female because he wrote his name in hiragana only.
