A herd of 73 painted cattle is gracing the streets of the Marunouchi area of Tokyo, as part of the popular bovine art celebration “CowParade”.
The herd is comprised of life-sized fibreglass replica cattle, roaming through the streets of the office district by the Imperial Palace, each decorated by someone of artistic pretensions. A number of celebrities have also contributed painted cattle, including busty talent Shoko-tan; naturally there is also cow merchandise on hand.
The event is set to conclude October 19th, though non-attendees may wish to simply check out the interesting gallery available.

We had something similar happen like this in my hometown. Although it was bears and not cows.
this is exactly what happened in my hometown, with cows, ... http://www.chicagotraveler.com/cows_on_parade.htm
This must be a very in thing this year as we had Elephants in Norwich(UK). http://www.goelephants.co.uk/gallery.aspx
my hometown had both the cows and the bears. I see that they were not very original.
We have moose or something around here like that
