Shoujo manga is actually some of the most explicit manga outside of actual ero-manga, vastly more so than shonen manga and seemingly considerably more so than most seinen manga.
Thus, I couldn’t help but notice the interesting question raised by the Vippers in this thread, “Why doesn’t it ever get censored?” Examples proffered below…
i've read one bout gang raped before but thats not the main story. its only part of the manga. i guess the title is sex crime, but the books're my friends, so i dunno where to download
I remember reading something like this before some years ago. Where some groups were complaining about the amount of "adult" material was appearing in "shoujo" manga/magazines. I never would have imagined that the material was that "risque". Not to mention drawn by women. Damn talk about "balls". See and all this time ya thought guys were the dirty birdie. I'd be curious to read more on this topic if I can locate various references.
Don't you know Japan, women have needs too and it is okay to accept that. Sexual inhibition is what is causing your stunted birth to suicide rates. If you were to accept some of your less than flattering qualities and see it as something unique like how there is a "black" culture in USA. And a bit less-flattering "Jersey" culture in New Jersey. Tentacles and sexually frustrated women,me likey.
Forgive me if my logic is inaccurate, but I believe I have a fairly simple progression system that might explain some of the questions:
Shoujo = girls manga.
In order to remain in publication, any given manga series must meet X (where "X" is the minimum revenue for the publisher to continue with the series) amount of sales.
Therefore, if shoujo manga is designed specifically for girls, and all manga must satisfy a certain sales bracket, we can assume that Shoujo manga, rather than attempting to "guide" or "control" the choices made by young females, is, in quite the opposite fashion, directly subject to the (ever-changing) whims of said demographic.
If shoujo manga is a subject of the preference of its demographic, then the contents of shoujo manga that are successfully published are, most probably, effective in catering to the choices and desires of young female readers.
If shoujo manga are indeed obeying the whims of these readers, then it would, in fact, indicate that such arguments as "why is it only maledom" and "they're teaching teenage girls to be sluts" are, in fact the only true attempts in this situation to "control" what this demographic thinks and desires. If you think that this type of material isn't what should turn girls on, then work to convince your children that they should be aroused by something else.
How came shoujo smut is always maledom? I've yet to see one with female taking the lead in sex! At least in yuri stories there're no hard-cast uke-seme rules.
Well... girl's sex drive is confirmed higher than guys, accept that they deny it and avoid talking about it. So on the surface, it appears that man are much more of a pervert. Well this is just me, but perhaps it is also depending heavily on cultural factors ^^
Probably these scans are from Boku Imo (1- title too long to remember, google it and you find out more. 2- i know because the girl says "Yori" and it's the same of her brother =)), an incestuous shoujo.
that's right. kotomi aoki's drawing style is very recognisable.
and the full title is: 僕は妹に恋をする (boku wa imouto ni koi wo suru), short bokuimo. there's also also an ova.
very recommendable, if you don't mind a heavily romantic depiction of incest.
Since I love trying to find various things on the internet. I decided to try this with my limited Japanese knowledge. Took me a couple separate tries.
It seems to be part of a anthology. The title of it (or the anthology) is "誰にも言えないマルヒ調教H". It could be romanized as:
"kere ni mo gen enai maruhi choukou H" (keep in mind that Im really bad at romanization)
Thanks, you did a great job - that's the one. Marketed to middle and high schoolgirls. Now I'll just have to see if I can find the whole story for an article...
The title by the way is: "Dare ni mo ienai maruhi choukyou H", or "The secret training/breaking I could never tell anyone". Delightful.
I remember reading an article on this awhile back and I think a some those images are from various Sho-comi issues. However, I have no idea what the titles might be.
That's not funny at all, if you're about to get blowed and you're thinking it's going to be awesome but no she suddenly has a condom in her mouth she's stretching across.
actually, i discovered that genre just recently. except for the fact that i hate bishounen, those manga are way yummier than most of the crap you find in the seinen sector.
not related, but does anyone know "take on me" by takemura sesshu? it's one of my favourite seinen comics. :)
Rather stimulating...
For some awkward reason I am going to start reading shoujo mangas lol.

The people saying sex in shoujo is telling girls to be slutty are the people who are stupid enough to say that loli cause pedophilia.
Shoujo rules
yes, heaven is here!

Everyone should read your comment. Sadly, it's a bit lengthy, so many won't bother.
I READ IT ^^
So that's why they like maledom so much overthere.
Typical double standard.
They chastise and feminize men, while "liberating" women and telling them to act smutty.
And Japan's population continues to plummet and they wonder why.
I blame the UN.
Women just have more freedom is all.

The last one made me lol well played good sir.

Anyone know what's the titles of the shoujo manga above?
I really want to know xD Especially the one with the girl tied to a chair *_*
My interest is piqued at the manga with the girl tied to the chair and being gang raped :)
please can anyone determine what manga it is?
Oh god...... WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYyyyyyy
WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
As a fan of smutty shoujo manga I have to ask - what are the titles of the manga you provided scans for? Particularly the more explicit ones?
Some of them from Mayu Shinjo 新條まゆ and Kanan Minami
If I but knew, especially the first one. There wasn't a source in the thread that I saw.
Perhaps someone can identify them? Especially the first one?
If by the first you mean the very top picture:

Was thinking of the sequence below, with the chair - the cover obviously has everything written on it...

Source, please?

Your welcome! Please do write on it.
Thanks for the proper romanization aswell.

Yeah, i have the same question...
i'll be glad to read those.
I remember reading an article on this awhile back and I think a some those images are from various Sho-comi issues. However, I have no idea what the titles might be.
Horny girls are horny.
It funny how they actually tell you how to put a condom on with your mouth and how blow the guy...
That's not funny at all, if you're about to get blowed and you're thinking it's going to be awesome but no she suddenly has a condom in her mouth she's stretching across.
How is that NOT awesome? I honestly can't think of a sexier way to apply a condom...
