A young lady (20) who kidnapped, imprisoned and beat a lady friend (25) in her house has been arrested, we hear.
The unfortunate prisoner was a “mail friend”, and once trapped at the girl’s residence she was threatened “If you get out, one of my pals will stab you.” She was also beaten, receiving light injuries.
Fortunately, her jailer was lax, and she managed to get off a mail to a male friend who immediately alerted police; she was rescued before anything more untoward could happen to her, having been confined some six hours.
Police arrested her jailer at the scene, together with a male accomplice who is suspected to have been involved.
Since she has not confessed, denying the crimes, and as police are not revealing more details, the precise motive is not clear, but given the circumstances there seem to be two basic possibilities… Shades of another, distant though similar case.
