Details of the latest addition to the seminal Disgaea SRPG franchise emerge, and it seems the role of protagonist has been seized by Prinnies, although Etna looks to have a major role. However, in something of an upset, the game is not only for the PSP, it is a platformer…
The game is titled プリニー ～オレが主人公でイイんスか？～ / Prinny – Ore ga Shujinkou de Iinsuka? (‘K if I’m the protagonist!?), and due for release November 20th. No region coding is reported. The story revolves around Etna demanding her lackeys fetch “the Ultimate Sweets”.
More importantly, Etna appears in some of the art looking quite tanned.

Another victory for the portables in the Disgaea saga. Would it be too much to ask for some up-to-date core titles? And not knock off crossovers either…

Can you believe I own the original Disgaea (PS2) but haven’t played yet?? I was going to save it for a more convenient time and all …..but it never came. Too many other games came out!

Just got the US version. Really great game. The only downside is the controls but overall an awesome game.
