In a spot of potentially excellent news for Minami-ke fans (amongst whose number I am happy to count myself), we have the news that a third season of the anime is planned, being apparently a continuation of the Okawari series.

Fans have been split over whether the first or second season was superior, with the confusing measure of changing production company between the two having muddied the waters severely, to say nothing of the changes between the productions, but ratings have been favourable throughout, so hopefully that success is set to continue.

Man okawari was fail most of the way. What’s worse was that the animators didn’t even do the backround character faces. That pissed me off and kinda made me stalled on okawari.
