Zettai Shougeki – Platonic Heart CGs

Perhaps more interesting than the case of the Platonic Itabus are these stunning promotional CGs, which I will share along with an introduction to the franchise itself: 絶対衝激～プラトニックハート～ / Zettai Shougeki – Platonic Heart is an effort to create a fully fledged mixed media franchise, spanning a variety of formats, with DVD and adventure game releases, as well as a keitai game, probably being the main elements of the project.
Story is strictly bishoujo game fair, with eleven girls fulfilling every possible taste, as you will see.
The franchise has an ambitious scope; announced is an anime OVA, a mobile game, a UMD release, a manga, CDs and figures, as well as the blog based marketing and a PSP game. Perhaps a PC release will come out later in enhanced format, like Little Busters?
Ten companies are involved, so leaving aside the question of whether it will be any good, it is an interesting example of a complex cross media franchise, with a variety of modestly innovative elements. Still, it is not at the level of a giant and very much doujin-centric effort such as Touhou, although Touhou still lacks certain elements. I think you can hazard a guess as to which is more successful.
As you can see from this fine art, they are attempting to cover every base with regards to taste, from loli petanko to OL bakunyuu. Very tasteful indeed.
Just asking, is it me or is Sano Toshihide doing the art for this one? It just looks familiar… and similar to Toshihide’s recent game, KanojoxKankojoxKanojo… or something like that.
Actually, the art looks more like Happou Bijin’s.
Sano Toshihide’s most recent game is Majoudou. You’re thinking Happou Bijin, just like Klutz said.

I just checked this and it is inconclusive - there are 11 publically revealed on the site, but no total, another source gave 12, and yet another source gave 9 (and had a picture from a few weeks ago with only 9 girls in it). Possibly they are not yet fixed, or maybe we are all just confused?
Dengeki says 11, so I will go with that.
