No Pantsu Witches

After the relatively chaste sixth episode, Pantsu Witches returns with a vengeance: a pantsu theft epidemic results in the most breezy and service packed episode to date, with plenty of pantsu cross-dressing, and a wide variety of completely nopan scenes. In fact oppai do not feature at all. Only leaves and sudden beams of sunlight preserve the modesty and marriageability of the witches.

You’ll recall that these are not pantsu, so it’s not embarrassing wearing them at all! In fact, throughout the witches are referring to them rather optimistically as “trousers” (zubon).
If they are indeed trousers it raises some rather intereting questions about the military uniform of Japan, if we consider what the Japanese witches are wearing.

This episode completely eschews story or combat in favour of pantsu. A wise move, it has to be said. What next? Will it catch up to the defunct manga in ecchiness? What of the DVD versions?
Damn Japan and the fact this stuff can’t be uncensored in the DVD release. ;P
Also, chance of American licensing just hit zero.
@Anonymous: If you can buy mosaic-less copies of Butt Fuck Sluts go Nuts 5 and Teen Cum Targets in Oklahoma and Texas, I’m sure we’ll be able to buy R1 Strike Witches DVD’s.
I think he was thinking more about the problem of marketing an anime like this; obviously it can be sold, but who to? If the market isn’t large enough then it will be difficult for the companies concerned to justify the outlay on localising it, given the risk.
Still, I wouldn’t rule it out just yet - there are plenty of ecchi titles out in the R1 market.
I’m sure if they can dub Hentai and release it, I’m sure they wouldn’t have problems with this.
