The touching story of a robot who gains a heart, told musically and starring vocaloid Kagamine Rin; certainly a masterpiece in all respects.

Worth watching to the finale for the ending, not that I think many would not be inclined to watch the whole thing through.
Nico. All the commenters are in tears. The maker’s page.

T_T;; Rin-tan~
Ahh you're kidding me, why'd they have to make it so sad?
It would be nice if only I understand what the lyric means. Somehow I feel touched but without knowing the lyrics, it feels such a shame to unable to enjoy it to the fullest.
It would be a simple matter to translate the lyrics, but displaying them is not so simple... It would definitely be worth doing though, as it is almost a musical manga.
Incredible.
Very nice. ^^
When I get home from work today I'll see about putting some English subs on it.
Artefact - could you upload the flv you put in your post somewhere to download directly? I can't find a nice version of it anywhere, and want to add subs ^^
Lyrics here in the meantime:

Here you are. It's the high quality version (same file I used in the post), I had to wait until Sunday morning to get it without economy mode wrecking the file. I can start putting DL links into the player if people would rather I do so.
Would you like me to post the subbed version?
Wow, it makes me really sad.
A story about a cyber-musical.Pinocchio... the feelings was too much for her.
But she left this world with a smile :)
Wow...I have tears in my eyes and it's been years since any piece of media has done that...Beautiful.
Amazing. I'll never look at Rin the same again.
Really sad, specially the english messages on the end.
Here is a link to download the mp3 of the song uploaded by the original creator.
Just look in the main page for this title
here is the link http://www.muzie.co.jp/cgi-bin/artist.cgi?id=a057380
I can't download the kokoro.mp3 from that site for some reason? any suggestions?
Don't have the mp3 myself otherwise I'd put it up for you, but you should be able to extract the audio from the flv...
I find it hard to believe that so many people haven't heard Kokoro before, it came out almost half a year ago, and probably is the most loved Rin song besides Aku no musume!
I think you're underestimsting the appeal of a MAD with anime elements... Most of the popular MADs have the anime part included.
A little late and whatnot, but...would anyone happen to have any information leading to sheet music/the source file for the song?
Don't worry about the lateness. Dug this out for you and anyone else interested:
You can find ココロ (search for this) in both normal and karaoke mp3 versions:

Boy that sure did come out of left field. I'm floored.
I don't know if the subbed version was ever posted, but here's a youtube link

So sad,, nice song,,,
I want to cry,,,
Wow. I remember that song. I remember watching another version with bot of the twins. either way, they were both saddening.
Reminds me of Key the Metal Idol.
God that was bloody beautiful, i don't even understand the language but i got such feeling just from the video and last few translated sentences
Simply amazing...never seen anything so sad that comes together so perfectly...
The song itself is old news, however, the video was new, of good quality, and worth the wait to load. I applaud the author's animation skills.
I made enquiries about which new, different, possibly promising new candidates for parliamentary office are popping out of the woodwork. ,
There's another version of this though. It's more story-like and touching.
