A 13-year-old girl was found with her hands and legs bound and left in a shrine toilet, we hear. She was discovered by a passerby who promptly summoned police; she was, fortunately, yet unharmed.
The girl had apparently been rushing to attend her middle school, it being half seven in the morning, when she ran past a parked minivan, from which sprang her assailant. The man grabbed her and marched her into a nearby shrine toilet, where he bound her wrists with plastic cord; she was discovered soon after, but the man had already made good his escape.
Police are searching for the man, thought to be in his twenties; the unfortunate girl did not know him, so quite why this sinister crime was perpetrated remains a mystery. Via ZakZak.

A publically accessible toilet attached to the shrine… a public toilet on the shrine grounds probably describes it, although the source doesn’t offer much detail on this.
