Strike Witches: DVD H Up & Gratuitous Pantsu Table

Aerial pantsu (see below) anime Strike Witches has been attracting much attention with its “They’re not pantsu, so it’s not embarrassing” logic, and of course because of its strong adolescent girl pantsu motif; now it seems that the DVD edition is to get a strong selling point in the form of even more ecchiness, with the news that the creators will be including the bits they were “forced” to remove (removed because of the marketing possibilities seems at least as likely), specifically the pink bits attached to the chests of the female characters will now all be included.
Since the DVD is some way off, no comparison is yet forthcoming, but by way of compensation allow me to include this fine diagram illustrating the vital statistics of the strike witches, including colour and type, as well as a diagram affirming the fact that America is indeed No. 1, even when apparently outnumbered by charismatic Axis witches.
Axis powers predominate? At least numerically…

Over time I think I’ve managed to amass Sky Girls, Rocket Girls and the Strike Witches OAV and series, and I have to say, there always seems to be a “glut” of the same genre anymore around the same time.
