Usually I visit whatever gets linked to - most of them aren’t updated too frequently, a lot have only text matome most of the time, and of course not all of the galleries are good. VIPPERな俺 / VIPPERnaOre is a big one.

A Vipper is someone using the VIP (2ch style boards) boards, known for image content.
Nobody actually likes using 2ch style boards, and they get deleted, links break, etc, so usually a “matome” (summary/collection) site will collect the results of good threads onto a website (Itainews is probably the most famous such site, though it doesn’t deal with vip).
