Fans of Valkyria Chronicles can rejoice; the first of what we can but hope will be a long line of expansions is set for online release in August.
The expansions will consist firstly of an Edie-centric (idol minor squad member) story chapter where she takes command of an operation, and secondly a new game mode, Hard EX Mode, which will add a new free battle mode. Maybe this is the hoped for new objectives and enemy randomisation feature for skirmish?
Prices will be a very reasonable ¥600 for the episode, and ¥300 for EX mode. Sales look likely to be brisk at such a price point.
