Air dates for upcoming SF anime タイタニア / Tytania have been released by NHK; the anime is an adaptation of highly acclaimed author 田中芳樹 / Yoshiki Tanaka’s space opera novels of the same name, and so at least has promising source material. His other notable works include 銀河英雄伝説 / Legend of the Galactic Heroes and アルスラーン戦記 / Arslan Senki.
Air details are that it is set to air on NHK BS2 at 23:32 each Thursday, starting in October.
Visual details of the anime seem a little scarce at moment (in fact completely absent), so we’ll just have to wait and see how it turns out.

Looks kinda cool. For some reason it's reminiscent, for me at least, of the first Gundam series' artwork.
