I live in Texas (used to live in Japan) and I've found that some of the Japanese beers are just not that good.  Kirin is an exception.

But frankly I've fallen in love with Shiner Bock (a Texas Beer) I introduced my Father in Law to it and he fell in love.  The only problem for him is that it costs somewhere around 500 yen to buy in Japan but less than a buck in Texas.

I told him he can have all the beer he wants when he visits but alas he's stuck at work until he hits retirement in a few years.  Too bad.</description>
