Oh you poor bastard. These images are _nothing_ in comparison to what is frequently done with photoshop for everyday magazines and idol shots. Also, most people are capable of looking fantastic (often it doesn't even require a lot of makeup, just a good hair-cut and a tiny bit of subtle makeup) as well as horrid. Often both in the same day if they're partying too hard in the evening. Or within the same minute, if they have vivid facial expressions. Still shots of a wonderfully expressive face is almost never flattering, alas. You ever did? Oh you poor bastard.
