In a change from the depressingly common efforts at suicide which severely inconvenience rail passengers, a lady instead apparently sought to do away with herself in the most honourable and traditional manner of cutting the belly; her choice of venue, a large supermarket in the middle of town, was a little less traditional though.
Emergency workers apparently received a 119 call from the supermarket saying that a female patron had a kitchen knife stuck in her belly; she would manage to explain as emergency workers took her away to hospital: “I did it myself”. She was in the basement kitchenware section when she did the deed, though we do not hear if she brought her own knife, or used one from the store. Via Sankei.
