Puchi Haruhi CG Dance

Some ingenious soul has made a 3D CG puchi/chibi/nendoroid rendition of the Haruhi and her crew’s OP dancing – see below for the video, which originates from NicoNico. Puchi/nendoroid Hatsune Miku videos included for good measure.

I’m left wondering, firstly if the stop motion effect is well advised (I’d think it would look better fluidly animated), and secondly, when is somebody going to start releasing puchi Haruhi games? The golden opportunity seems to have been lost with the Wii dance game…

    Is there a name for the dance they do during the second video’s chorus? (they make ears with their hands and move side to side). I see this dance everywhere but have no idea where it came from.

    I don’t like the stop motion in the haruhi 3D chibi dance I prefer the fluid kind.

    I’m pretty sure the chibi Haruhi vid is following the same 3D animation style as Little Big Planet. I recognize the jerky handmovements and minimal animations.
